Spotify Release Engagement Page Updates

Distribution
Spotify is making updates to the Release Engagement page in Spotify for Artists to better reflect how your audience is engaging with your music. These changes will go live on 12th December and are designed to give you more insight into how your active audience interacts with your releases.
What’s Changing?
Instead of showing engagement based on Followers, the Release Engagement page will now display data on how your active audience has responded to your releases.
You’ll be able to review the last 6 months of releases and see how many active audience members streamed your release within the first 28 days.
The page will also break down engagement by audience segments: super listeners, moderate listeners, and light listeners.
You can toggle between views of streams from your active audience and streams from all sources.
Save Your Follower Data Before 12th December:
If you (or your artists) want to keep a record of the current Follower data, Spotify will display a banner on the Release Engagement page starting 2nd December to remind you to save your data. Note that there is no CSV download option available, so we recommend taking a screenshot or saving the page from your browser.

This update offers a more detailed look at your audience’s engagement and helps you understand the depth of their connection with your music.
Stay ahead of the change and save your Follower data if it’s important for your records.
